“This app is really brilliant. Everything is clearly presented and you can find your way around very easily right away. The idea is simply great, because I've wanted to volunteer several times.”

Jary

“5 stars for the idea alone! So much easier than working your way through the web. So far, everything with the functions works flawlessly, even though I live in Spain, I am shown lots of interesting projects that could need help online.”

Johanna
via App Store

“I think the idea is great! There should be many more offers like this that make it easy for you to help and, above all, to do something for the environment. Unfortunately, there aren't as many offers in smaller cities yet. Hope that gets even more over time:).”

Frequently asked questions

Is letsact nonprofit?

Yes - as Letsact e.V., we operate the free app and take care of connecting organizations and volunteers.

How do you finance yourself?

We are financed by funding, donations and sponsors. You can also support our work as a private person. To do this, you will find the donate button at the bottom of the footer. If you have any questions, contact Lena at [email protected].

Is letsact free to use?

Yes! Our platform is free to use because it is important to us that even organizations with limited financial resources have access to our platform.

What are the requirements for organizations on your platform?

The organizations must be non-profit within the meaning of Sections 51 et seq. of the Tax Code (AO) and be based on the liberal democratic basic orders, and ensure work that is conducive to the objectives of the Basic Law.

Who reviews the projects and organizations?

The projects and organizations are carefully checked by us according to the admission criteria. You can therefore assume that everything you find on our platform has a charitable purpose.

Can I also offer remote projects?

Sure, so much the better! This means that there are potentially over 100,000 volunteers available to you on the platform. Simply enter “remote” when creating a project and volunteers from all over Germany can find you.

We need regular support from volunteers. Can I state that?

Definitely! When creating a project, you can choose whether you need volunteers once (such as for a clean-up), for a specific period of time (such as for a project week) or regularly (such as for two hours a week).

Can I also post job applications with you?

What is the lets universe?

The lets universe combines letsact e.V. and lets GmbH. While the association operates the letsact platform, lets GmbH focuses on corporate volunteering. Values and mission are the same — with a focus on companies.

Who can I contact if I have any questions?

We're always happy to hear from you! If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to write to us at [email protected].
