Equal opportunities are made possible

The cycle of poverty is broken and living standards increased

Why school fees?

Education is one of the few opportunities for young people to break the cycle of poverty and have chances for a promising future.

Children and young people who otherwise would not have access to education can go to school by securing school fees.

Every year, school fees are paid for several hundred children from the poorest backgrounds so that they too can acquire basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills. Children who are at the end of their education receive special support so that they do not have to leave school shortly before graduation because their parents can no longer pay the school fees.

Ending poverty?

One of the main causes of poverty in Burkina Faso is the weak education rate due to the inadequate infrastructure of public schools and the lack of funds for parents to send their children to school.

The Sahel e.V. is a non-profit organization that gives needy children and young people in the West African state of Burkina Faso, among others, a perspective in life.

Make access to education possible now and change not only a life, but a whole community.
