Corona - A challenge that we all face together but unequally

The coronavirus presents us all with major challenges. Social contact does not take place as usual and we are concerned about what the future will look like for us and our loved ones. But there are people who have no home where they can feel safe - no place where they can feel safe and cared for, no heating, not even a real bed.

The overcrowded refugee camps in Greece must be supported

Currently, more than 20,000 people live in the Greek camp Lesbos Camp Moria alone, although it is only built for 3,000 people. Quarantine, hand washing or social dissociation are essential at the moment, but if you live in Moria, none of this is possible. These people are threatened by infections, confronted with a lack of humanitarian care and left to their fate alone.

Emergency humanitarian aid is urgently needed there

Through your financial support, provide humanitarian assistance, access to medical care and necessary quarantine and protection measures. Support the evacuation of the overcrowded refugee camps.

Organization

With your donation you support organizations at the external border that work for refugees. The donations go directly to the 'Stiftungsfond Zivile Seenotrettung', which collects and manages donations. Projects that support refugees on site can apply for funds unbureaucratically. This ensures that the donations arrive quickly and directly where they are needed.

Help people in acute need with your donation and save lives in the truest sense of the word

Support these SDGs

The Sustainable Development Goals from the United Nations are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The 17 Goals are all interconnected, and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve them all by 2030.
